What Are You Saving Yourself For?

“The future starts today, not tomorrow.” -Pope John Paul II

There are always ‘those things’ that we’re going to get around to doing eventually, but “today just isn’t the time.” Some are too busy—some decide it’s too expensive—some have “never done anything like that before”—and some have tried and failed already so they’re good with the notion: “at least I tried”. Tomorrow isn’t promised, so I’m asking a simple question: what are you saving yourself for? God saved you once, and that is all you can ever need.

"If God is for us, who can ever be against us? Since God did not spare even his own Son but gave him up for us all, won't God, who gave us Christ, also give us everything else?" Romans 8:31-32
