Blessing Comes Through Growing

“Opportunity is missed by most people because it is dressed in overalls and looks like work.” -Thomas Elva Edison

A farmer can’t expect a bountiful harvest without first working to plant seeds. A Christian can’t expect God’s favor without first working to plant his God-given seeds. Whether the seeds be writing, speaking, singing, serving, giving, organizing, helping, drawing, teaching, encouraging, painting, preaching, or managing—each day you have an opportunity to grow them and glorify God. Your blessing comes through this process.

While the earth remains, seedtime and harvest, and cold and heat, and summer and winter, and day and night shall not cease (Genesis 8:22, KJV).
