Giving Honor

“No person was ever honored for what he received.  Honor has been the reward for what he gave.”  -Calvin Coolidge

Sometimes it’s easy to think about all that you don’t have, but today let’s reflect on the unlimited freedom we share in America to pursue happiness because of the men and women who have risked and given their lives serving us.  If you see a military veteran, personally honor him by giving him the deepest and warmest “thank you.”

Give to everyone what you owe them: If you owe taxes, pay taxes; if revenue, then revenue; if respect, then respect; if honor, then honor (Romans 13:7, NIV).
