Speak The Good

Speak ill of no man, but speak all the good you know of everybody. “ -Benjamin Franklin

Too often people choose to gossip about someone else just because they can.  You may have all of the juiciest information about someone, possessing all the power to cut them down to size and get even with them.  Don’t do it.  When you decide to hold your tongue, then eventually God is going to bless you in ways you initially may not foresee.  Try this: rather than finding something negative to say about a person you don’t like, find something positive to say about a person you do.  Use your energy for good, and not for bad, for two reasons: (1) people need encouragement, and (2) you need God’s favor on your life.

So shall My word be that goes forth out of My mouth: it shall not return to Me void [without producing any effect, useless], but it shall accomplish that which I please and purpose, and it shall prosper in the thing for which I sent it (Isaiah 55:11, AMP).
