Reading Your Life

Whenever you do a thing, act as if all the world were watching.”  -Thomas Jefferson

People may not take the time to read the Bible, but they will read your life.  Ask yourself: “In my day to day interactions do I demonstrate Christ?”  Do I show others love, grace, kindness and selflessness? Am I diligent, punctual and honest in my work?  Do I exhibit the peace known only by faith and trust in God?  This might be a good litmus test for you.  If the results came back positive then continue doing what you’re doing, but if the results came back negative then ask Christ to help you change.  This isn’t just about you being your best each day, it’s also about others coming to know Christ by way of watching you.

Let every detail in your lives—words, actions, whatever—be done in the name of the Master, Jesus... (Colossians 3:17, The Message).
