Demystifying God's Will

“The center of His will is our only safety - let us pray that we may always know it!” -Corrie ten Boom

Many people often ask these questions: “Who am I going to marry?” or “Where will I work?” or “What is God’s will for my life?”  Scripture teaches that in WHATEVER you do, do it for the glory of God (1 Cor. 10:31).  So as long as the person you marry is a Christian, He’s less concerned with whom you marry than how you live when you are married.  Whichever profession you choose, God is concerned with whether you work with integrity.  So take some pressure off yourself.  Know that if you are living your life God’s way according to His Word then you are in the center of His will.  When you surrender your life to God and seek His will, He will show you the way you to go.

Trust in the LORD with all your heart; do not depend on your own understanding. Seek his will in all you do, and he will show you which path to take (Proverbs 3:5-6, NLT).
